Like we didn’t already know Yorkshire was the best, Leeds Festival has officially featured on the list of the UK’s most “unmissable” festivals for 2020.
Curated by respectable culture website Big 7 Travel, the list features the best of the best music festivals the UK has to offer, with the website even saying they’d recommend turning their trips into holidays to really make the most of the experience! We’re probably biased, but we’d definitely recommend a cheeky holiday in Sunny Yorkshire.
Leeds Festival ranks at a respectable number 7 on the list, which we’ll of course take on the chin given the competition we have here in Britain – but we can always rejoice over the fact that sister festival Reading doesn’t feature on the list… At all.
Here’s the list in full:
- Glastonbury (obviously)
- Parklife, Manchester
- Isle of Wight Festival
- Download Festival, Derbyshire
- TRNSMT Festival, Glasgow
- Leeds Festival
The list only consists of 7 recommendations, with popular festivals such as Boardmasters and Lovebox that attract thousands of tourists each year not actually making the cut.
Leeds Festival 2020 will see Liam Gallagher headline, with other acts such as Arctic Monkeys and Bring Me The Horizon rumoured to be joining the line-up.
2019’s headline acts were revealed back in November 2018, so we expect more news on their line-up to be announced very, very soon. Stay tuned for more.
