Morrisons Slash Petrol Prices Below £1 Per Litre From Today

Avid drivers will know how much fuel prices have risen over the last few years. It makes owning a car very expensive and with most people using them to commute every day, it can become pretty expensive just to get to and from work. As of today, Morrisons announced that petrol will be less than £1 per litre in the UK for the first time in four years at 99.7p per litre.

It will be the first supermarket to make such a fuel price slash below £1 since 2016. Diesel will also see a fall to 104.7p per litre on forecourts across the country. The supermarket announced the cuts on Twitter this weekend, saying how they would like to thank the key workers.

It tweeted saying, “To say thank you to all key workers and other motorists making essential journeys, we’re cutting the price of unleaded to 99.7p per litre and diesel to 104.7p per litre from tomorrow morning.”

What a generous offer from the supermarket, this could go a long way in making a little bit of a difference in turbulent times.
