Channel 4’s New TV Show ‘Murder Island’ Is Looking For True Crime Fans To Apply

A brand new Channel 4 is looking for true crime fans for their brand new murder mystery TV show. Named ‘Murder Island’ the show is looking for individuals that think they have what it takes to solve mysteries.

Ever sat watching Luther and called what’s going to happen well before the mystery is solved? Always beat your family and friends at Cluedo – being the first one to figure who was killed where and with what? Then keep on reading as you may be the next big detective on the block.

The location or setting for this new show have not been revealed yet, but as a budding detective, you’ll probably know before they do. STV Studios, the production company behind the show, are looking for ‘teams of ordinary British people to try their hands at becoming detectives to solve a murder.’

The website states that filming will take place in May under COVID safety protocols, so make sure you apply fast if you want to take part.

The application reads: “STV Studios are making a brand-new television series for Channel 4 and are looking for teams of ordinary British people to try their hand at becoming detectives to solve a murder mystery.”

“We are looking for teams of two to take on the case. The civilian ‘detectives’ will have police resources at their disposal – pathologists, forensic scientists, psychologists etc. They will be competing to see if they can be the first to identify the suspect and bring them to justice.”
