It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! With Halloween and Bonfire Night over, we now turn our attention to the most wonderful time of year. If you are anything like us, you are definitely starting to get into the Christmas spirit. Yorkshire is full of festive events right across the county, but there aren’t many more Christmassy than The Great Yorkshire Christmas Fair.
This year’s fair is getting ready to be the biggest ever. As you enter the fair, you will discover over 180 unique food, gift, and fashion stalls all under one roof. You’ll find art, toys, beauty products, cracking stocking fillers, seasonal fashions, homewear, beautiful gifts, accessories, and much more to make this a Christmas to remember.
After all that shopping, you will want to relax with some delicious food and drink. Well, you will be spoilt for choice! There will be a range of cafes, food vendors, restaurants, and, if you are feeling boujee, a champagne bar.
There is also a Christmas raffle and tombola. This year there is a chance to win a glamorous Bayswater Mulberry handbag worth over £1000, along with lots of great tombola prizes.
Not only is The Great Yorkshire Christmas Fair a lot of fun, but it is also helping a great cause. It is sponsored by Pink Event, a breast cancer charity. In 2025, they raised over £7,000, helping fund vital equipment and resources. This year they are aiming to support the creation of a non-clinical, calm room for patients with autism, additional needs, or severe anxiety.
