2023. It truly is the year of wellness. And if there’s one place in Yorkshire that recognises that, it’s Yurtshire. A luxury glampsite found on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, Yurtshire has long brought tranquil experiences to all who book a stay – but now, things are about to get a whole lot more relaxing.
Introducing a brand new spa and wellness retreat on-site, guests at Yurtshire will now be able to amplify their experience at the site, where they’ll be enticed to ‘get back to nature’ with a number of new experiences including outdoor saunas, a new on-site spa and, of course, the incredible amenities that are provided with each glamping yurt.
In addition to the new glass-fronted Kirami Outdoor Sauna – which is nestled among the trees – guests can also take part in yoga sessions in the site’s dedicated Yoga Yurt, enjoy luxurious treatments in a dedicated treatment yurt, or even dip in one of the site’s new ice baths – which will be launching early this summer.
Guests are also able to wild swim in Eavestone Lake itself, helping to reconnect with nature and enjoy the various benefits of cold water swimming, including boosted endorphins, increased energy levels and even a soothing effect on muscles.
Once you’ve finished winding down at the various well-being amenities on offer, guests can head back to their own private glamping yurt, where they’ll find a private hot tub, a wood-burning stove to cosy up around, and even glass-topped showers beneath the sky – the perfect way to connect with the woodland surround.
The Eavestone Lake site recently introduced Yurtshire’s very own tree yurts, amplifying the luxury already on offer by building yurts into the trees around their very own private decks.
The unique getaway offers glamping accommodation across two sites – Eavestone Lake (where the spa experiences are) and Fountains Meadows (closeby to Fountain’s Abbey), and is the perfect place to enjoy a couple’s retreat or a getaway with friends and family.
