‘All Creatures Great And Small’ Is Looking For Extras From Yorkshire For New Season

Fancy yourself a bit of a thespian? Always wanted to tread the boards? Then stay tuned, as we’ve got something for you. Channel 5’s popular TV series All Creatures Great and Small is looking for extras for their upcoming season. So if you’re from Yorkshire, can do a Yorkshire accent or can wear a flat cap – get applying.

Production has already started on series two of the hit show – after becoming the Channel 5’s top-rated show just a short while after premiering. The first series followed the life of James Herriot, a newly qualified veterinary assistant from Glasgow, and was such a success that Channel 5 commission a second series of the reboot.

Filming in Yorkshire, talent agency Articulate Drama School & Agency posted to their Facebook saying, “Working on this hugely successful show again! Looking for a wide range of ADULTS – please read the below carefully!”

The advert calls for both men and women aged 18-65 – specifying that men should have no fades, no visible tattoos, have natural hair colour, and either have a moustache or be clean-shaven. The woman should have natural hair colour and no longer than shoulder length hair, with no tattooed eyebrows, eyeliner or lipliner. They should also not have fake eyelashes or nails, and no lip fillers.

To apply, the advert requests that you send in two photos of yourself with no makeup on and hair down against a plain wall. You should also include your name, age and address. You’ll also need to state whether you can drive or have access to a car, your right to work in the UK, and any relevant experience or agencies that you are signed up to – as well as including your email address and phone number to sabookings@articulatesdc.com.
