Has Jules Hudson, presenter of Channel 5’s Springtime on the Farm, just let the news about All Creatures Great and Small series 5 slip?
Posting to social media alongside a snap of Nicholas Ralph, who plays James Herriott in the Channel 5 reboot, he wrote a caption: “Always love catching up with this lovely guy, @nicholasralph_ AKA James Herriot. And thrilled to hear there’s even more All Creatures Great and Small to come. Can’t wait!”
The post says “thrilled to hear there’s even more All Creatures Great and Small to come” hinting that a series five is on the way. If this is so, we can’t wait either Jules!
Unfortunately, we could be grasping at straws as there hasn’t been any official announcement about All Creatures Great and Small being renewed for a series five. At least not yet.
Surely, it’s just a matter of time given that the show is one of Channel 5’s top viewed shows. It seems that world can’t get enough of the feel good goings on in Darrowby – and can you blame them?
Series four took viewers through a roller coaster of emotions. From the news that Mrs Hall might have been leaving to James heading of to RAF training. We were on the edge of our seats reaching for the tissues throughout the series.

Not to mention the festive special and season finale that rounded off the series storylines nicely keeping us wanting more from the gang in the fictional town of Darrowby.
Fans of the show were quick to show their love for the show in the comments with one person saying: “Great news. Really love that show.”
Another wrote: “Thrilled for the good news! Fantastic show!” We can only wait and wait to hear news for a possible series five.
