Is there anything better than enjoying a delicious ice cream sitting on the beach on a warm summer’s day? Well, we can’t! And what better place to do it than one of Yorkshire’s finest seaside towns – Scarborough.
If you are heading down to South Bay beach, you’ll find one of the best ice parlours on the Yorkshire coast. Scoope De Ville is an absolute treat for anyone with a sweet tooth, young or old.
Locally Made and Full of Flavour
Located right on Scarborough’s seafront, they offer an incredible range of creative, classic, and limited-edition ice cream flavours. The award-winning ice cream is freshly made in nearby Filey using local ingredients with a dedication to quality. Just some of the flavours include:
- Malteaser ice cream
- Pistachio
- Bubblegum
- Bakewell Tart
- Oreo
- Cherry
- Tutti frutti
- Double chocolate
- Banana
- Lemon and Vanilla
- Passionfruit
- Blueberry
- Rolo
- Lime Ripple
- Biscoff
There really is something for everyone’s tastes. Watch out for the limited edition flavours they do. Past ones have included ‘The Dubai ’, which is chocolate and pistachio, and they also did a cereal edition with a selection of Frosties, Coco Pops, and Rice Krispies. As well as ice cream, they offer milkshakes, waffles, and other sweet treats.
They posted to socials saying: “32 flavours all made by us in Filey. We also make our own lemon top and amazingly creamy whippy”
Once you’ve got your ice cream, take the short walk to the beach and sit and relax on the warm, golden sand. Alternatively, take a stroll down the West Pier and enjoy those fabulous sea views. Oh, watch for those seagulls. The ice cream is so tasty that they love it too!
Are you now craving one of Scoope De Ville’s mouthwatering ice creams? We don’t blame you! You will find them at 27 Foreshore Rd, Scarborough YO11 1PB. Whether you are a local or a visitor, go check it out the next time you have a day at the beach in Scarborough.
