Located in Pontefract, Farmer Copleys opened in 2003, but the family has been farming for over 150 years. Over the years, it has become the county’s ultimate pumpkin patch, where you can wander through 300,000 homegrown pumpkins with over 60 unique varieties. The fields are a sea of orange, green, white, and striped pumpkins, creating a spectacular natural sight.
All you need to do is find your favourite pumpkins, pick them, and you pay by size. Then the choice is yours: you can carve a scary face on them for Halloween or cook them into a delicious pie, cake, soup, cheesecake, pasta; the list is endless.
