Michelin-trained rising star Jamie Keeble, who recently represented the region on the latest series of Great British Menu, is set to lead the refreshed Chef’s Table at Yorkshire’s Swinton Park Hotel, nestled amidst lakes, woodland and gardens on the 20,000-acre estate near Masham.
Keeble joins the Swinton team from Michelin-starred Mýse and is recognised as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging culinary talents. He will join the team in September to lead the Chef’s Table, which reopens on 1 October 2026, when guests will once again be able to book.

The Chef’s Table has earned a place in the Michelin Guide and is located within the estate’s historic Coach House. It has made a name for itself by delivering an exclusive, interactive and immersive dining experience underpinned by Swinton’s estate-to-plate philosophy. The intimate restaurant experience celebrates provenance and seasonality, serving just 12 guests at a time.
Keeble will specialise in using seasonal ingredients at their peak, focusing on sustainability, freshness and restrained techniques that allow the produce to take centre stage. Ingredients will be sourced from across the estate, including the adjacent walled garden, alongside carefully selected produce from trusted local suppliers throughout Yorkshire.
Keeble’s passion for cooking began in childhood, baking alongside his mother, before taking his first kitchen role at Sheffield Wednesday F.C. He later joined the Michelin-starred Lords of the Manor in the Cotswolds, where he developed his technical cookery and fine dining skills. He then moved to Wales to hone his craft at the acclaimed restaurant-with-rooms Ynyshir before returning to Yorkshire as part of the opening team at Michelin-starred Mýse.
He was recognised in the National Restaurant Awards’ Rising Stars Class of 2026 before winning the Rising Star Award in the chef category. He also appeared in Series 21 of the BBC’s Great British Menu.
Speaking about his new appointment, Jamie Keeble said: “Joining Swinton Estate is an incredible opportunity. The connection between the estate, the walled garden and the kitchen provides an outstanding platform to create a dining experience that is personal, memorable and rooted in the seasons. My cooking celebrates modern British food, inspired by memories, tradition and the exceptional produce we have here in Yorkshire – whether that’s using produce from our kitchen garden, tenant farmers or local Yorkshire suppliers. I’m looking forward to joining the team in September and putting my mark on Chef’s Table – I’m excited to see what we can achieve, along with welcoming our first guests from October.”
Steve Darou, Executive Head Chef at Swinton Estate, added: “Jamie is one of the most talented young chefs working in Britain today. His experience at some of the country’s most respected kitchens, including Michelin-starred Mýse, together with his creativity, technical ability and genuine passion for seasonal British produce, make him the perfect person to lead the next chapter of the Chef’s Table. We are thrilled to welcome him to Swinton and excited to see his vision come to life from October.”
The appointment follows the recent arrival of Steve Darou as Executive Head Chef at Swinton Estate after his role as Group Head Chef at St. John restaurants in London. Together, Darou and Keeble will continue to strengthen Swinton’s reputation as one of the UK’s leading estate-to-plate dining destinations. Keeble succeeds former Chef’s Table Head Chef Josh Barnes.
You can book Chef’s Table from 1st October 2026, via the Swinton Estate website.
