Pigs in blankets, roasties, and Greggs’ Festive Bake. That’s when you know the festive time is upon us. It’s been a hard time this last year and sometimes we need to focus on the good things that are in our lives to get through them. So, Greggs‘ announcement that their Festive Bake is nearly here has cheered me up ten fold.
Taking to Instagram today, with the simple caption ‘
“Christmas is coming and so are the Festive Bakes! (Yes, you read it right)
The 3 week countdown is on…”
Greggs has given the nation something to look forward to. Three weeks time fans can get queueing for the savour of 2021. Releseased once a year at Christmas, the Festive Bake is made from chicken breast, safe and onion stuffing, sweetcure bacon in sage and cranberry sauce – all that Christmas goodness in a puff pastry shell.
The price this year has not been confirmed but last year Greggs’ Festive Bake was £1.50. There are no words about other festive items on the Christmas menu this year, so we will have to wait and see what Greggs has in store for its fans.
M&S have gone Christmas crazy early doors this year with a range of products. You can get a Christmas Colin the Catapillar, snow globe gin and a whole host of other Christmas items that we can’t wait to get down our throats. If it’s one thing we look forward to each year here at The Yorkshireman, it’s Christmas time. We love the whole festive season and we hope you do to.
