Pigs in blankets, roasties, and Greggs’ Festive Bake. That’s when you know the festive time is upon us. It’s our favourite time of year when we start to focus on the good things in our lives to get through them. So, Greggs’ announcement that their Festive Bake is nearly here has cheered me up tenfold.
Taking to Instagram yesterday , with the simple caption “BAKING NEWS, The Festive Bake lands 09/11/23.” The reel announcing the news was an amazing drone display that’s worth a watch!
Greggs has given the nation something to look forward to. Come Thursday fans can get queueing for the savour of 2023. Released once a year at Christmas, the Festive Bake is made from chicken breast, sage and onion stuffing, sweetcure bacon in sage and cranberry sauce – all that Christmas goodness in a puff pastry shell.
This year’s price has not been confirmed but last year Greggs’ Festive Bake was £1.50. There are no words about other festive items on the Christmas menu this year, so we will have to wait and see what Greggs has in store for its fans.
Fans were quick to show their joy for its return with one person writing: “This was the only thing on my Christmas list”. Another agreeing saying: “Exciting times ahead”.
