Starting way back in 1760, Hamleys is the world’s largest and oldest toy store. There are only 15 stores in the whole of the UK, and while it’s not quite the Argos catalogue, it is still a special treat for the little ones at Christmas time.

When it first opened it had every kind of toy, from rag dolls to tin soldiers. Although the toys may differ these days, the priceless smiles on kids faces, and the fun and laughter that Hamleys represents lives on in his stores. It’s over-the-top decor and dressed up staff show how Hamleys go the extra mile to prove you not just another customer to this toy store.
