This Sheffield cafe is doing special things since its humble beginnings as a pop up back in the first lockdown. Olive & Joy, Sheffield serves up some amazing brunch foods, cakes, coffees and other sweet treats. Found in Dyson Place in Sharrow, their latest creation has piqued our interest. It’s a hybrid of iced coffee, doughnot and froconut.

Froconut is their own soft-serve ice cream that is topped with an array of handmade indulgent toppings. Posting to Instagram they wrote: “This is what we do when the sun shines.”
“back when we first started elly made the cakes & @fro.co.nut and Olivia made the coffee so we created THIS for the ultimate drink and it’s insane. Iced coffee X Doughnot X @fro.co.nut“.

We have to agree this combination of iced coffee & doughnots topped with ice cream has got us salivating at the mouth and is the perfect way to cool down after exploring this bank holiday. It looks like they also do a brownie version of the iced coffee, so you’re spoilt for choice.

As well as this incredible creation they also do some other exciting cakes, desserts and drinks. They do some crazy hot chocolates that are topped with anything from chocolate ganache and roasted peanut rim topped with cream and caramel sauce to cookie dough balls.

They also do a range of brunch options, so if you or your friend doesn’t have a sweet tooth they can pick something else whilst you get stuck into all the sweet and chocolatey goodness.
Olive & Joy Sheffield, are still fledglings but seem like they on to something. We think they are one to visit this half-term, especially for their new iced-tea doughnot hybrid. If you’d like to find out more check out their site here.
