There is a cafe & bar in Leeds City Centre has a passion for all things Yorkshire! From their Hendos beans to their Yorkshire pudding burgers, you’re going to want to add to your bucket list of places to try, as it looks bloody brilliant! Wapentake, Leeds is a must for any true Yorkshireman.
First up – their brunch menu has everything you’d want from a decent breakfast with their Yorkshire breakfast that includes Sheffield’s Hendo sauce beans with all the other items you’d expect on a good ol’ Full English.
The item that caught our eye was the breakfast Yorkshire puddings that come with baked eggs, crispy bacon bits, and, of course, Hendersons relish. These can all be washed down with a nice cup of Yorkshire Tea,
Of course, every Yorkshireman loves a Sunday Roast, but if you want to try something a little different, why not try their Yorkshire pudding burger? They’ve replaced their bread buns, with, you’ve guessed it, Yorkshire puddings! Your burger comes covered in gravy with your own gravy boat because you can never have too much gravy.
The bar is stocked with a range of Yorkshire ales such as Northern Monk, North Brew Co, Vocation, Brew York, Kirkstall Brewery, Crooked Brewing and more. They’re dedicated to celebrating the greatest County in Yorkshire – that’s for sure.
They also have a range of spirits and ciders to try – as well as coffees and cakes. We can’t wait to head down to Wapentake ‘A Little Piece Of Yorkshire’.
