Our Farm Next Door is back next month on More4, and we can’t wait to be back in the Yorkshire Dales with everyone’s favourite family. In this series, we’ll see Amanda and the family continue work on Anty John’s while running Ravenseat Farm. And one of the children is taking on more responsibilities.
In what is set to be series four of the show, which was filmed across winter 2025 and spring 2026, we see Edith and her sisters preparing the cream tea van for a summer opening. And we’ve seen via social media that it’s been a huge success over the summer. Wise Owl Films said Edith is balancing running the cream tea van while also preparing for her exams.
Cream teas up at Ravenseat have been a fixture for years but stopped in recent years, so it’s exciting to see Edith carrying on the tradition, which feeds passing walkers taking on the Coast to Coast Walk. It’s an important fixture for walkers up in the remote Swaledale region.
It’s the perfect stop-off on the popular walks in the area; you can enjoy a nice brew at the home of the Owen family, who first featured on Channel 5’s Our Yorkshire Farm and now the Channel 4 show, Our Farm Next Door. Get sat down at the picnic benches situated by the packhorse bridge, kick back and take in the panoramic views of the stunning countryside.
Elsewhere, the Northern Echo reports that in this upcoming series, the focus will be on painting, flooring and furnishing Anty John’s, as the plastered walls are finally dry. Clive and the children will be mucking in and helping Amanda transform the inside of the building. The series is set to finish with Amanda and the kids’ very first sleepover at the house.
