‘Our Farm Next Door’ Renewed For Two More Series

I’ve loved the new series of Our Farm Next Door. I’d go as far as to say it’s my favourite of all the Owens’ shows so far. The children are grown up now and taking on more responsibilities around the farm, such as Edith being in charge of the cream tea van. So, the news that the series has been renewed for another two series comes as no surprise.

Amanda, Clive and the rest of the Owen family have been working on the restoration of Anty John’s in the Yorkshire Dales for four series, and now series five and six have been announced for More4. That’s another ten episodes to enjoy! The announcement comes as the fourth series came to an end last night.

The show has been More4’s highest-rated programme for three years, according to the channel. Series five will pick up straight after the fourth, following Amanda and her daughters spending their first night at Anty John’s – the first time anyone has slept there in decades.

The new episodes will follow the family from early summer 2026 through to spring 2027, with the whole family featuring in the series. Expect more from life on the farm, as well as Amanda delving deeper into the story of Anty John’s former owner, Anthony Clarkson, a 19th-century Swaledale mapmaker.

Jayne Stanger, commissioning editor for Channel 4, said: “Our Farm Next Door is a joy of a series that holds a special place in the hearts of our More4 viewers. I am thrilled we’re continuing to work with the team at Wise Owl to follow Amanda, Clive and the whole family on their renovation journey, and I can’t wait to see whether Anty John’s might ever be finished.”
