Reuben Owen has enjoyed great success with his Channel 5 show Reuben Owen: Life In the Dales, which had its second series air earlier this year. Following Reuben and friends as he traverses the trials and tribulations of his own business. And, next week, we can look forward to a Christmas special in the Yorkshire Dales where Reuben Owen is joined by family and friends to celebrate in true Dales style.
The festive season is heading to the Yorkshire Dales, and Reuben is ready to celebrate after another successful year. His spin-off show from the popular Our Yorkshire Farm, which followed Amanda & Clive Owen along with their nine children on Ravenseat Farm, has proven popular with fans of the hit Channel 5 show.

On Tuesday, 16th December at 8pm on Channel 5, Reuben Owen: Christmas in the Dales airs. And, as Christmas approaches, Reuben is planning a yuletide party at his girlfriend Jess’ farm to thank family and friends for their support in 2025. But, before the celebrations begin, Reuben, along with Sonny and Caper, his workmates, is helping Jess’ dad, David, with a massive barn renovation project.
Whilst all that building work is going on, Reuben and Jess rear a flock of turkey chicks and must save the day when their festive feast flies off.
We look forward to this, as well as hopefully a third series from Reuben and the gang. There is something truly special about the Yorkshire Dales, and we love seeing it as the backdrop to the family-friendly Channel 5 series.
That’s not all we are looking forward to watching this Christmas. Reuben Owen: Christmas in the Dales is just one of a range of fantastic Yorkshire shows airing this Christmas. Other festive favourites we are looking forward to include the All Creatures Great and Small Christmas special, which will be more heartwarming fun at Skeldale House. And, also the Mortimer and Whitehouse: Gone Fishing Christmas special, where the boys head over to Devon and Cornwall for a spot of fishing and some festive fun.
