Fish & chips with a sea view are one of life’s top pleasures. And although we love a fish & chips in a box covered in scraps, salt and vinegar and of course chips spice, Saltburn’s Seaview Restaurant is one of the best seafood restaurants where the view and the food collide to create the perfect dining experience.
During the summer you’ll find it is heaving with queues along the promenade for a cheeky takeout, but you can’t truly experience the popular seafood restaurant without dining in and taking in the exceptional views from Saltburn-by-the-Sea’s historic Victorian Pier looking out at the long stretch of golden sands, beautiful view whilst enjoying some of the freshest & tastiest seafood you’ll ever try.

Along with a spectacular indoor dining experience, the venue offers a stunning terrace which is what you want when visiting the seaside – and best of all it’s dog friendly.

The popular Saltburn restaurant has seen a huge rise in popularity over the years with people travelling from all over to give it a try. But, don’t go thinking this is your average fish & chip cafe, because this spot does some of the tastiest seafood dishes in the UK – and you’re going to want to try them all.
Seaview Restaurant’s team of chefs work closely with local fishermen and producers – with many of the ingredients, such as the crab, caught fresh each morning from the shores on their doorstep, so you know you’re getting the freshest seafood.

The menu is full of delicious dishes including the starters which consist of such tasty options as King Scallops, Mackerel with peanuts, apples and grapefruit, crab bruschetta, seafood pancakes baked in a Thermidor sauce with parmesan and herb-crusted cod goujons. We are already salivating at the thought of ’em all.

On to the mains where you can enjoy a classic fish & chips with either cod or haddock and Whitby scampi of course. But, not only do they do the classics well, you can get stuck into crab rarebit, moules, halibut with caramelised cauliflower, hake kiev with grab and garlic and more.
Also, a must is their seafood brioche, which Bake Off winner Nadia Hussain recommended on BBC show Remarkable Places To Eat.
