A Burger Joint That Sells Cheeseburger Spring Rolls Has Opened In York

York is about to get a bit of a shakeup thanks to its (very) welcome new arrival. Recently opening in Hull, Manchester-born Solita Bar & Grill, has opened up in York on Lower Petergate, taking up residence in a beautiful old-fashioned building – and it’s helping York catch-up with the bigger cities, providing a new foodie spot for locals to enjoy.

Just two minutes from the Shambles and York Minster, American-style burger joint Solita serves up some of the best Wagyu burgers, wings, and steaks in the game – and trust us when we say, the sides are worth making room for. Opening just yesterday, October 5, the brand new restaurant joins sister site The Old House in town, and is run by the same company, Shoot The Bull.

Famous for their ‘Big Manc’ burger, Solita is known for serving huge burgers – stacked with tasty toppings such as JD sauce, tiger prawns, pastrami and more. It’s their sides that really steal the show, however, with fan-favourite Cheeseburger Spring Rolls as a must-try, and deep fried black pudding bites – to name just a couple.

Shoot The Bull have grown an umbrella company housing a number of much-loved restaurant brands since their early days in Hull, including The Old House and Shoot The Bull and now, the ever-expanding Solita – which is also set to open up in Leeds. Book a table at the new York restaurant here.
