Now, it’s been named the best for indoor play in the UK – and having seen the size of it, we aren’t surprised. In our opinion, it’s one of the best things to do with kids in Yorkshire.
Located in Wetherby, Stockeld Park is a multi-award-winning visitor attraction that sees thousands flock to it every year. The Playhive is a 20,000 sq ft venue offering four enormous and interconnected adventure zones for your child to explore. Themed around jungle, space, sea, sand, and air, it’s one of the biggest indoor play areas in Europe.
The zones are all interconnected through a circular space in the middle that has a 30 ft tower with slides coming down it. At the top of the tower are high walkways that take you into the connecting rooms. Every little detail of this place has been thought about by its creators, and we guarantee your child will have a fabulous time.
The Playhive at Stockeld Park won Best Indoor Attraction (over 12,000 sq ft) at the Association of Indoor Play Awards.The indoor play area is locataed on 2,000 acres of rolling parkland which also has a range of adventure play areas and magical wodland to explore as well as the fantastic award-winning indoor playground.
Andrew Newton, the head judge of the Association of Indoor Play, said: “The competition was incredibly fierce. The level and standard of entries were astonishing, showcasing the remarkable talent and innovation within our industry. It was a true challenge to select the winner from such an impressive pool of nominees.”
