There is nothing better than a crisp sandwich. The addition of a few crisps to a simple ham, chicken or peanut butter sandwich has the capacity to elevate your lunch to a whole new level.

That extra bit of texture turns us all into a bit of a Jamie Oliver. After being around for how ever many years, the penny has dropped for Subway and they’ve made it so you can create your own ‘crisp sub.
You’ll be able to add Walkers Ready Salted Crisps to your Subway sandwich in the most nostalgic way ever. In store you can add crisps as well as 53 other ingredients to you 6-inch of footlong sub when ordering from the 23rd of May.

Angelina Gosal, Head of Marketing UK & Ireland at Subway said: “The crisp sandwich is an iconic and important part of Britain’s culinary traditions and we’re excited to partner with Walkers to allow guests to now order one in store.

“With the addition of Walkers crisps to the toppings you can add to our Subs, we have one of the biggest, tastiest and the crunchiest menus on the high street!”
Fernando Kahane, Marketing Director at Walkers commented: “As a nation, we may not agree on everything, but we are united in the fact that a lunchtime sandwich without crisps is just not the same.”
We have all pretty much decided what our favourite subway is by now, so it will just be a case of adding crisps for an extra 20p, easy.
