A first-of-its-kind karaoke bar is set to open in Hull this week, in a large corner site formerly occupied by Tofts Bar and Grill on Newland Avenue.
The perfect place to hang out and celebrate with mates, Vox Box Bar will combine karaoke with cocktails, alongside private rooms where pals can really let it out to their favourite tracks. We’re talking over 80,000 songs at the tip of your fingers, all available to sing-a-long to with the helping hand of your backup singers (AKA, your mates).
Each room will be kitted out with party lights and an in-room ordering system, meaning you won’t need to miss out on your favourite songs to get yourself a drink.
If that wasn’t all, once you’re done, there’ll be regular entertainment to enjoy in the main bar, alongside a classic list of cocktails to make your way through. Think Pornstar Martinis, frozen Pina Coladas and classic Old Fashioneds, alongside tons of wines, tequilas and beers.
Each karaoke package will offer two hours of private use in your own room, alongside snacks and room service, with additional packages including prosecco and beer for each and every singer in your group, too. Talk about rider service…
The website reads: “Vox Box is reinventing karaoke as you know it in Hull. No longer will you have to sing in front of a load of strangers, looking at a tiny screen with software that belongs in the 90’s. That style had its day. It’s now the time for the new era of karaoke experience.”
Vox Box Bar opens its doors on April 30th, and you can book your private room here. Packages start at just £15pp, with the most expensive costing just £35pp including snacks, Prosecco or beer, spirits and mixers, a £10 bar tab per person, and two hours of private use of a karaoke room.
