The warmly lit pods create an intimate environment for you and your guests to enjoy a few festival ales. As they’re nice and warm, you can sometimes be visited by the reindeer who trot around them.

4. Thor’s Tipi, York

Thor’s Tipi bar is synonymous with York Christmas Markets. They back along with York Christmas markets with their tipi bar. As well as its Parliament Square location, its new winter location at the Principal Hotel, near the train station, it’s waiting to be enjoyed.

It will open 17th November, from 11:30 am to 10 pm. You can enjoy a mulled wine (or two) in this ambient and warm space. If their summer tipi is anything to go by, you will be feeling ready for Christmas in no time.

Joining them will be Yuzu’s Street Food, serving up sharing boards inspired by Japanese mountain resorts, including YUZU favourites such as Katsu Curry, Karaage Chicken and surprises like ‘Pigs in blankets sushi’.

The Venue Bar & Kitchen has created the perfect romantic evening for the cold autumn and winter months with their amazing new dining ingloos. The new investment lets you enjoy a lovely meals under the warm glow and an unforgettable dining experience.

6. The Fat Badger Pub, Harrogate

You can dine with up to six people in these beautiful igloos. They’re adorned, with sheepskin rugs, lanterns and festive lighting that bring all the experience of Christmas to you. The AA rosette dining experience is only £20 Mon- Thurs or £30 Fri – Sun.
