The hit Channel 5 show that documents the lives of Amanda, Clive and their 9 children hit our screens in 2018 and has fast become the channel’s top-rated show.
Narrate by Ben Fogle is focuses on ‘The Yorkshire Shepherdess’, Amanda Owen and her family as they go about their daily lives on the farm – from learning life skills like churning butter, looking after cattle and supporting training exercises for rescue operations. Each thing that they do Amanda can relate to how it helps them in their development.

A lot of people have started to question if the Owens own their farm and the simple answer is yes. They own Ravenseat Farm where they live with their children, but according to The Express the estate is owned by billionaire Robert Miller who is the co-founder of DFS (Duty-Free Shops).
Amanda and Clive, who owns Ravenseat Farm house, have been on the farm for more than 20 years and continue to keep the traditions of farming as it has been done for hundreds of years.
