The Traitors has to be one of the best game shows to ever come out. So, we’re very excited that the first-look images for the new season of The Celebrity Traitors have just been released. The BBC show is due to return later this year with a whole host of new celebs who will play the ultimate game of deception.
The new series will once again see a group of famous faces arrive at the Traitors’ castle, where they’ll be split into Faithfuls and Traitors and tasked with working out who they can trust.
As the game progresses, the Traitors will secretly ‘murder’ contestants, while the Faithfuls attempt to identify and banish the Traitors before they can steal the prize money. With such a huge mix of comedians, actors, presenters, musicians and sporting personalities taking part, there’s plenty of potential for some seriously chaotic moments.
What celebs are in The Celebrity Traitors season two?
Presented by British TV royalty Claudia Winkleman, the new series is set to feature Bella Ramsey, James Acaster, Amol Rajan, James Blunt, Jerry Hall, Joanne McNally, Joe Lycett, Julie Hesmondhalgh, King Kenny, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Maya Jama, Michael Sheen, Miranda Hart, Myha’la, Professor Hannah Fry, Richard E Grant, Rob Beckett, Romesh Ranganathan, Ross Kemp, Sebastian Croft and Sharon Rooney.
It’s a good mix of celebs, and if the first season of The Celebrity Traitors, won by Alan Carr, is anything to go by, we’re in for an absolute treat this autumn. Here at The Yorkshireman, we might not be leaving the house much over the next few months, as first-look images for All Creatures Great and Small have also been released.
There will be 10 60-minute episodes to enjoy, with the show made by Studio Lambert Scotland. The Celebrity Traitors will see 21 famous faces head to the Traitors’ castle, ready to play the ultimate game of deception and betrayal in the hope of winning a cash prize of up to £100,000 for a charity of their choice.
There is no release date as of yet, but we’ll keep you posted when we know.
