Looking to soak up the rest of the summer holidays with your kids before they’re headed back to school in September? This charming indoor-meets-outdoor play adventure attraction is great for children to explore and run wild whilst connecting with nature through a playground created out of natural materials.
Found in East Yorkshire, William’s Den adventure park is an exciting attraction that allows children to climb, build dens and play in an open and rural setting that has all the facilities a family would want for an incredible day out to make some lifetime memories.
Opening back in 2017, the place has quickly gained a huge fanbase with over 30 thousand followers on Facebook – and it’s easy to see why. Thanks to the inside space, the play park is perfect for any type of weather. The insides have walkways and wobbly bridges as well as nets connecting everything.
There is a sandpit for kids to get creative. But, if you get a chance to be outdoors, your kids can enjoy zip wires, mud kitchens, tyre swings and our favourite bit – the chance to build dens from scratch.
As well as many places to explore, William’s Den also has great relaxing spaces for grownups to enjoy tea or coffee with some tasty homemade food. The Kitchen Table serves award-winning homemade ice cream to help the kids cool down after racing around all afternoon.
Over the summer you can enjoy the vibrant golden field of sunflowers, the team have planted their first crop of sunflowers and they make for the most beautiful family day out with the backdrop of the Yorkshire Wolds. You can explore and pick your own sunflowers in this unique summertime experience.
Found near North Cave and Hull, William’s Den always has great events going on so make sure you keep an eye on things happening via their website, here.
