Harry Potter: the greatest franchise to ever live, even more so that a lad from Yorkshire clearly saved the day (talking about you Neville). And now, you can pop to Sheffield to get your fix of the Potterworld, thanks to a new Harry Potter-themed tea room called Steel Cauldron Sheffield which has opened – attracting 3,000 reservations for its opening month.

Named The Steel Cauldron, it is a great little adventure in to the world that J.K Rowling created all those decades ago. Both huge fans of the Potter franchise, owners Nikki and Rob created the tea room including twinkling lights, leather wingback chairs, piles of battered suitcases and quirky (but magical) bits and pieces to finish. Located on Broomhill High Street (coincidence), the peculiar spot was planned to open before ‘the world stopped’, however, following a slight delay is finally open for us unworthy muggles to experience.

With a little help from volunteers Nikki and Rob turned this former music venue into a pastiche of the Pottering world. Now open, the place serves magical delights, including afternoon tea. To find out more at book at the Steel Cauldron Sheffield, head to their website here.
