The TV Choice Awards 2021 have been announced, and a couple of Yorkshire’s favourite shows have been nominated. Both Channel 5 shows All Creatures Great and Small and Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly have been nominated in their respective categories.

The hit Channel 5 show All Creatures Great and Small has been nominated for Best New Drama and is up against some stiff competition such as Bridgerton, It’s A Sin and The Queen’s Gambit. The popular show follows the life of James Herriot has pulled in both critical and fan acclaim since the release of the first season, quickly becoming Channel 5’s highest-rated show.
Also up for an award is Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly in the Best Lifestyle Show category. The show follows Yorkshireman Graeme Hall as he travels around the country helping exhausted dog owners fix their pets and their own bad habits. The show is a heartwarming show that changes owner’s lives.

All Creatures Great and Small is currently in the process of filming their second series across Yorkshire and were spotted in Grassington and Thirsk. The various spots have got us excited for the new season and we’d love to see them take home an award for their amazing remake of a classic drama.
You can get the chance to see Graeme Hall at 5 On The Farm this August Bank Holiday along with other Channel 5 stars The Yorkshire Shepherdess and Peter from The Yorkshire Vet.
