1. Cresci Pizzeria, Piccadilly – best pizza in york
Considered one of the best pizzas in York, Cresci is a highly-rated pizza place that serves amazing Pizza Napoletana. Their homemade pizzas are made with love and look absolutely mouth-watering. The restaurant has a really great atmosphere and is great value for money.

A joint venture between Thornbridge Brewery and York-based pub Co Pivovar, the Market Cat serves up great beer and delicious Milanese-style pizza. It’s located on the Shambles Market square just off the busy town centre.
We enjoyed sitting on the second floor with the bi-fold windows sipping on great craft ale and enjoying a 12-inch Tre Carne pizza with cotto ham, pepperoni and n’duja pizza. The dough is made fresh every morning using the finest Italian pizza flour and its own multi-award winning Jaipur IPA. 6 Jubbergate, York, YO1 8RT
Enoteca by L’UVA is a cosy little place that has great pizza & wines. The authentic Italian Wine Bar sits in the centre of York and is passionate about serving high-quality and authentic Italian foods.
Their Neapolitan pizzas are some of the best you will try in York and we can’t wait to try them when lockdown ends. 5 Bridge St, York YO1 6DD
Set in Spark York’s ultra-hip outdoor market and dining place, Rad Pizza’s hand-stretched, wood-fired sourdough pizzas. They’ve put their own Yorkshire spin on the Naples inspired pizzas serving locally sourced ingredients to make their amazing pizzas. Why not try one of their Calabrese Carne with a nice cold beer? We can’t wait to try out their fantastic and popular pizzas.
5. The Hop, Fossgate – best pizza in york
As well as serving up some great ales The Hop has some amazing stone-baked pizzas. They’re made fresh to order and have some amazing specials on offer. The venue is a cool relaxed place to enjoy your pizzas with long benches and a busy food hall-style dining environment. They have some of the tastiest pizzas in town with some creative toppings.
The Shambles Market is full of fantastic food offerings and one of our favourites is Pizzoli a humble looking pizza shack. A Sicilian pizza chef serves of tasty pizzas, calzones, arancini, lasagna and focaccia.

7. Crooked Slice @ Dusk, New St – best pizza in york
Dusk is a popular independent cocktail bar in the York city centre and they also serve up delicious NY-style pizza by the slice or a whole 16″ pie brought to you by the guys at Crooked Slice. So, if you fancy a few cocktails with a slice or two al fresco style, head over to Dusk.
Located down the New Street, just off Coney Street they serve up a pint and a slice or 2-4-1 cocktails and a slice deals – perfect for summer. The Hot Salami pie sounds right up my street! Be hard pressed to leave with those deals as well. 8 New St, York YO1 8RA
