The latest instalments continue to follow Jeremy Clarkson and the team at Diddly Squat Farm as they navigate another turbulent year in the Cotswolds. While every season seems to bring a fresh set of challenges, series five looks set to be one of the toughest yet.
Diddly Squat is getting ready for the Easy Care Sheep and the cows to calve and lamb. And, later in the series also sees the farm forced to deal with an outbreak of tuberculosis, creating yet another obstacle for Clarkson, Kaleb Cooper and the rest of the team.
With futuristic machinery on the horizon, the biggest challenge may be convincing 65-year-old Clarkson and the famously sceptical Kaleb to embrace change.
Prime Video has released episodes five and six, arriving on 10th June. The final two episodes of the season will be released on 17 June.
Discussing series five, Clarkson said: “I like to think Clarkson’s Farm has altered the way people think about farming. I think more people now appreciate just how difficult it is and just how badly paid it is. For that reason alone, I think the programme has been a good thing. Obviously, things like the government budget have fed into that wider conversation across UK farming, and Clarkson’s Farm reflects that.”
For those who need a refresher, all previous seasons of Clarkson’s Farm are available to stream on Prime Video alongside the new episodes. If you’d like to catch up on Prime Video’s previous series of Clarkson’s Farm and watch the new series, you can watch here.
