We have really, really enjoyed the latest series of Our Farm Next Door. The Owen family have repeatedly shown us how the family work wonderfully together to make television that feels like a warm hug. And, when everything else on the box is a crime thriller or some kind of murder mystery, the weekly trips to the Dales with the Owens are a real treat.
Adventures at Anty John’s have progressed nicely this season with the renovation of the new, formerly abandoned Swaledale barn coming on leaps and bounds. We’ve seen even more heartwarming stories from the whole family, with more tales from everyone’s favourite farm, Ravenseat, running alongside the renovations.
And, for those who are sad to see the latest series end, don’t worry, as Our Farm Next Door has at least one more series on More4 for us to enjoy.
It was a poignant end to series three with the sad death of beloved family dog Chalky. All members of the family feature, with the renovation taking centre stage against the backdrop of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
Two extra series were announced back in August 2025, and with series three done, we have a series four to look forward to. So, we definitely more from Amanda, Clive and their kids and the rest of the gang up in Swaledale The series was commissioned as 10 episodes split into two blocks of five, with season four as the second half following on from what we saw in season three.
At the time, Amanda Owen said: “I am beyond delighted that we have been given the opportunity to showcase this unique and beautiful part of our British countryside and for people to join us on our exciting journey through the restoration of our farm next door.
“We’re grateful for Channel 4’s support and the effort and utter dedication of the film crew who have had to work in challenging weather conditions, coupled with the unimaginable chaos of both children and animals. This is a programme that I am seriously proud of.”
Wise Owl series producer James Knight said, “Watching the 11-strong Owen family pulling together to transform this wonderful old barn has been an incredible ride so far. We’re so thrilled we’ll be there to cover the next chapter.
“As work begins inside to turn its four walls into a home, Amanda will be digging deeper into Anty John’s eye-opening back story, and we’re looking forward to spending more glorious days at both Ravenseat and Anty John’s.”
By the end of series three, after more than two years of work, the renovation is exciting, with the old ruin unrecognisable. The home is ready to start looking at the interior decoration and furniture.
It isn’t yet confirmed when series four will air on More 4, but since the series three episodes that aired finished documenting the family’s lives around the end of October 2025, it could follow previous seasons and pick up again in the spring.
No release date has been announced for Our Farm Next Door series four, but we presume it will pick up again, maybe in spring, following previous seasons.
