Yes, you heard us, right! You can get a Creme Egg pies from pie shop Mi’ Mam’s Food Company in Leeds, Morley. Appearing on Steph’s Packed Lunch last year, Rocky Arkwright from Mi’ Mam’s Yorkshire Food Company showed off his Creme Egg and Custard pie – and we can’t lie – they went down a treat. Not only is it National Pie Week, but Easter is also round the corner. This naughty pie ticks both boxes and sounds like it will fill a hole for sure.
If this pie sounds like a bit of you, you can get it from their store in Morley, and a Creme Egg Pie will set you back only £3 – HOOOW MUUCH. What a bargain. Encased in handcrafted pastry made with love you just know it’s going to taste great.
Well, it seems that Steph’s Packed Lunch couldn’t get enough of these pies! They had Arkwright back on to showcase his jam roly-poly and custard pies, which you can see Denise Van Outen enjoyed -today.
They also do Creme Egg Scotch Eggs for just £1.25 – which replaces the sausage meat with Madeira cake mixed with ground almonds and strawberry jam. This shop sounds like my idea of heaven!
The handcrafted pies are made by artisan bakers, so you know that you are getting a high-quality offering. They deal in freshly made pasty and delicious fillings. Some of their customer favourites are spam & cheese, steak & stilton. Some of our favourites from their lists is their BBQ pulled pork & mushy peas, which sound very moreish for sure.
