Leeds Bradford Airport has released a new video showcasing CGI visuals of what the £100 million terminal expansion will look like once completed. The huge development is set to be completed in time for summer 2025
It’s said to be designed to “elevate passenger experience” and also align with the airport’s commitment to “sustainability and regional economic growth.” The latest video gives travellers an idea of what the experience will be like come summer when heading on holiday from the new LBA terminal. The new terminal aims to improve passenger comfort, featuring enhanced seating areas and an improved retail and dining offering.
Once complete, the new terminal extension will complement the existing facilities, providing a seamless gateway to over 80 destinations worldwide. One of the most impactful visuals is the striking exterior that highlights the terminal’s contemporary design, and showcasing LBA’s vision for a state-of-the-art, efficient, and environmentally-friendly airport.
The first phase of the regeneration project is scheduled for completion in summer 2025, at which point guests will be welcomed into the new terminal extension. Following this milestone, attention will shift to phase two of the project, which focuses on redeveloping the existing terminal to further enhance the airport’s overall infrastructure.
