This Fish & Chips Train Yorkshire In Yorkshire Dales Is A Must

Love fish & chips? Course you do! Well, have an experience like no other on the scenic journey through the Yorkshire Dales traveling on a heritage train whislt tucking into the nation’s favourite takeaway.

That’s right, travelling from Leeming Bar to Leyburn this unique experience allows you to enjoy fish & chips with mushy peas and of course bread and butter whilst taking in some of Yorkshire’s most scenic views.

The Wensleydale Fryer experience is the only way to spand an afternoon with unlimited tea & coffee to wash down your chippy afternoon.

Think of it as a fish & chip afternoon tea on one of the UK’s most beautiful trains. You’ll set off from the lovingly-restored 1920s station building in Leeming’s Bar.

The train journey last two hours taking you to the beautiful Leyburn station in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.

You have the option of fish & chips whilst you travel or alternatively you can have a sausage and chips (which is Mrs Yorkshireman’s preferance).

Tehre is also bar service onboard for those who fancy a glass of fizz on their train journey. Once you arrive in Leyburn you’ll have a short comfort break where you can stretch you legs and take some snaps before returning to Leeming Bar station.

Tickets for the Wensleydale Fryer experience cost just £30 per adult and £12 for children, which includes the train ticket plus food, which is an aboslute bargain.
