Sheffield get ready! The ‘world’s largest chicken wing festival’ is debuting in the Steel City. Try the tasty wings and test your metal with the spicy hot sauces. This October diners can judge which spot makes the best wing.
If you love a good ol’ chicken wing drenched in hot sauce, BBQ sauce and any other moist-maker then this is the festival for you. From fiery fests to delicious barbecue flavours you’ll find all sorts of goodness at the UK’s biggest chicken wings festival.
Taking place over the 18th, 19th and 20th of October at Peddler Market on Burton Road, Neepsend there are expected to be around 90,000 wings being served by 9 different food vendors. They’ll be showcasing the best chicken wings the UK has to offer with thousands of ticket holders and a judging panel deciding the best.

Sheffield’s own Smashed and Pulled and Highfield’s Wingies will be at the festival alongside award-winning Eat the Bird, Hope You’re Hungry, Bad Boy Wings from Birmingham as well as the award-winning Ginger Wings.
You’ll be able to test your palette of hot sauces on offer and get to vote on the best buffalo wings, wild wings and BBQ wings on offer.

There will also be the Flying Goode Wing Eating Competition where guests can compete to see who can eat the most chicken wings in the fastest time. One for the real dons, the Lava Wing Challenge is for contestants who think they can eat eight of the ‘UK’s hottest wings’.
But it’s not all about the wings, the festival will have live music, DJs, bands, and other entertainment as well as axe throwing and other games.
