That’s right! You can enjoy all things German at this unique festival without having to jump on a plane. Oktoberfest is a long-standing tradition in Germany that has been going on since 1810 in Munich, where citizens were encouraged to eat, drink and have fun at the wedding of Crown Prince Ludwig of Bavaria and his princess bride.
