The highly anticipated return of The Apprentice is led by the prominent business figure Lord Sugar, accompanied by his esteemed advisors Baroness Karren Brady and Tim Campbell MBE.
In this latest season, 18 candidates are set to engage in fresh challenges, showcasing their business acumen as they compete for the coveted opportunity of receiving Lord Sugar’s £250,000 investment and mentorship.
Speaking about the new candidates Lord Sugar said: “Well, I’m very pleased with this series because the quality of the candidates that we have attracted this year is superb, I have to say”
Meet the four Yorkshire candidates for BBC’s Apprentice below:
Dr. Asif Munaf – Sheffield; Owner, Wellness Brand

Dr Munaf is looking to make waves with his range of vitamins and supplements – and is looking to keep Lord Sugar in good shape saying “I would make sure he is fit, sharp and firing for at least another 20 series!”.
Oliver Medforth – Yorkshire, Sales Executive

Priding himself on “never doing “owt for nowt”, Oliver’s background in selling at markets has him looking forward to the famous (and infamous) sales tasks. Oliver says that “running five retail shops for our family run distillery, from Newcastle to Swindon and setting up a soft drink that pairs perfectly with all our range of gins.”
Dr. Paul Midha – Leeds Owner, Dental Group

Dr Midha says that “presenting a product-based business plan to Lord Sugar, I aim to revolutionise the healthcare attire market.” He’s hoping to “secure a substantial market share” and is “ready for the extensive learning ahead”.
Rachel Woolford – Leeds, Boutique Fitness Studio Owner

Business-minded from a very young age, Rachel has plenty of experience managing her work independently. She said: “When I was seven years old, I went missing, only for my frantically worried mum to find me by the roadside selling my toys shaking a biscuit tin full of coins and shouting “toys for sale, everything must go today!”.
Discussing her strength she says: “Opening a business in the middle of Covid and creating a strong community of clients who loved the service we provided, despite all the restrictions and limitations in place.”
