We’ve been looking ahead at some of the incredible places our region has to offer once this is all over. Heading to the idyllic countryside of North Yorkshire, this 7-bedroom converted barn is the perfect place to reunite with your mates, and it comes in at a steal per night too – so grab the beers and pack your bags, you’re gonna wanna move in ASAP.

Situated near the historical town of Richmond, the modern property is beautifully decorated, with original features retained throughout for a super cosy feel. Not only that, but the amenities are to die for, too, meaning you can stay indoors while keeping occupied, or take advantage of the great, rural sights nearby before kicking back and relaxing.

Gayles Hall Barns sleeps up to fourteen guests and consists of two buildings, armed with a private hot tub, a cosy fire pit and an outdoor BBQ that’s ideal for a mass catch-up. Elsewhere, guests can take in the views of the rolling hills of the Yorkshire countryside, with a number of luxury bedrooms to choose from which feature beautiful bathroom facilities (including a rainforest shower – swanky, huh?!).

The huge kitchen and living areas have ‘socialising’ written all over them, with a giant open plan kitchen which features a built-in wine cooler, and cosy living areas with log burners, comfy seating and entertainment by way of TV’s and a dedicated games room. For those who do want to leave the house, however, a number of gorgeous gastropubs can be found just 10 minutes away, with local villages Gilling and Ravensworth nearby, and all the delights that beautiful Richmond has to offer just a 10-minute drive away.

The barn can be rented on a 2-night minimum basis, with the low price tag of £475 per night – which comes in at a cheap-as-chips £34 per night between 14 people. To book your stay or find out more information, check out Gayles Hall Barns here.
