BBC Three’s Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK is set to appear back on our screens very soon and they’ve announced guest appearances for the brand new series.
Nine extra-special guests have been announced for the fabulous new series who will join the Drag Icon, RuPaul Charles in the search for the UK’s Next Drag Race Superstar.
The show revolves are the queens facing RuPaul’s challenges, which aim to showcase their drag skills pushing them to their creative limits. Ru is joined by Michelle Visage, Alan Carr, Graham Norton and a host of celebrity Drag Race super fans to help decide the fate of the queens.
Each week, the queens face challenges that test their drag skills to the max and although the crucial decision lies with Mama Ru and Ru’s loyal Drag Race UK besties, , a host of celebrity Drag Race super fans also join in on the fun and help deliberate the fate of the queens.

BAFTA Award winning stage, film and television actor, Suranne Jones who is Yorkshire’s sweetheart due to her role as Anne Lister in the popular BBC show Gentleman Jack.
Speaking about her appearance Jones said: “Joining the panel of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK as a guest judge was as fabulous as all the Queens were. I’m a huge fan so it was a total dream!”

Gentleman Jack was cancelled controversially last year as HBO, who co-produces the show with the BBC, revealed they would not renew the series which features Suranne Jones as the famous Anne Lister.
Other celebrity guest appearances included: Aisling Bea, Alexandra Burke, Cush Jumbo, Daphne Guinness, Joel Dommett, Kristen McMenamy, Sophie-Ellis Bextor and Yasmin Finney.
