Channel 5’s All Creatures Great and Small Season 3 is currently filming in Grassington The hit series, which will once again be based on James Herriot’s real-life memoirs is once again taking over Yorkshire. As the Yorkshire town is transformed into the fictional village of Darrowby once more, it hopefully won’t be too long until we can enjoy more hilarious antics from the Darrowby Veterinarians in the Yorkshire Dales.

Following the success of Channel 5’s reboot of All Creatures Great and Small, the North Yorkshire locations are being sent back in time. The heartwarming programme has proven very popular with viewers and is in the midst of filming series three, and we are falling in love with images popping up from behind the scenes.
The All Creatures Great and Small crew are currently in the North Yorkshire town of Grassington, Into the Wild Yorkshire Style, we can see the transformation and some snaps from behind the scenes.

The images show James and Helen played by actors Nicholas Ralph and Helen Shenton, chilling on a bench in their old-fashioned outfits looking gorgeous as ever. As well as all the veggies beautifully set out for the local greengrocers with an extra in a wollen vest and Yorkshire flat cap.

Other images show what looks like Tristan sneaking out of the famous Drovers Arms where the vets go for a well-earned pint after looking after all of Darrowby’s farmer’s cattle. There is also a beautiful snap of a vintage bus that’s fire engine red.
