Marco Pierre White is returning to his home region of Yorkshire, and while he hasn’t opted to move back, he is bringing us some delicious grub to enjoy on a fleeting weekend visit.
Launching the Great White Festival in Harrogate this month, the acclaimed chef has created the ‘ultimate foodie day out’, where Yorkshire folk can eat to their heart’s content while trying out new favourites.

Taking place at the Harrogate Convention Centre and boasting three whole halls, guests can not only expect street food and bars on hand where they can try out different cuisines, but a wonderful artisan producers market, a mixology stage, and plenty of live demos led by acclaimed chefs such as Simon Shaw and Jean-Christophe Novelli (among many others!).
If that wasn’t all, Marco himself will host the White Heat Theatre – where he’ll whip up an array of dishes alongside special guests from his family and friendship circle.

Fans will be able to pick up some tips and tricks from the pro himself, while discovering delicious recipes to show off once you get home.
The Leeds-born chef is welcome a ton of big name brands to the festival, too, including Le Creuset, Guinness, Pernod Ricard and Kallo.
Pierre White will also host a book signing session, too, so fans can take home the perfect keepsake before trying out their new culinary skills.
Marco Pierre White was born and raised in Leeds, and became the first British chef to be awarded three Michelin stars back in 1995. He’s widely considered to be the first ‘celebrity chef’, leading the pack for other success stories such as Jamie Oliver and Gino D’Acampo.
