Halloween is like Marmite: you either love it, or you hate it. For me, I just can’t wait to stock up on the spooky themed treats, light a candle and kick back with a ghostly film – and it turns out we’re not alone with our love for the spooky occasion, with others using it as an excuse to put the Christmas tree up early, or utilising their otherwise abandoned trees for the grand occasion.
Turning their Christmas trees into huge Halloween centrepieces, a number of seriously creative fans have gone all out for the day – and the results are seriously impressive. Instead of your traditional angels, stars and twinkly festive decor, people are using fake blood, spiders and pumpkins on their trees. And the scary new trend is catching on, with Instagram flooded with creations for us to enjoy.
From skeleton baubles and pumpkins on top, it’s fair to say Halloween fans have pushed the boat out for the occasion. At this point of 2020, I’m totally on board and ready for some pre-Christmas festivities… Here’s just some of our faves:
