Huge Comedy Legends Coming To York This Summer For New Comedy Festival

We love a bit of comedy here at The Yorkshireman and this huge comedy festival coming to York this summer is one definitely not to miss. Taking place in the stunning Museum Gardens the inaugural York Comedy Festival featuring some of comedy’s biggest names.

Set to take place on Sunday 6th July 2025, York Comedy Festival will be headlined by two comedy legends Dara Ó Briain and Katherine Ryan. Alongside these to comedy behemoths, the line-up includes nine comedians including Maisie Adam, Joel Dommett, Clinton Baptiste, Angelos Epithemiou, Vittorio Angelone, Scott Bennett, and hosted by Stephen Bailey.

These award-winning comedians are set to take the historic Yorkshire city by storm. The Live at York Museum Gardens series is in its second year, and last year saw sell out shows form the likes of York legends Shed Seven, Libertines co-frontman Peter Doherty and Jack Savoretti.

“Our inaugural sell-out concert series last summer gave us the opportunity to see the lasting cultural impact that these large-scale outdoor events have on the city so this year we’re really excited to be bringing world-class comedy to York Museum Gardens alongside some incredible live music.”
