Jeremy Clarkson Announced ‘Clarkson’s Farm’ Renewed For Series 5 In Classic Fashion

Clarkson’s Farm has quickly become one of the nation’s favourite shows that has helped highlight major issues within farming as well as keep us entertained. Prime Video has seen the popularity and announced it is renewing the show for a fifth series.

Ahead of next year’s season four premiere, the documentary series has been renewed as the series broke the viewing record for Amazon in the UK. And, Jeremy Clarkson doesn’t just send out a press release. Oh, no. In classic Clarkson fashion, he has taken to social media where he can be seen in a jacket and black beanie hat celebrating Bonfire Night.

In an Instagram video on Tuesday (5th November), Clarkson says: “Over the years bright lights in the sky have been used to make many important announcements, the birth of the baby Jesus for example.”

“But tonight they’re being used to make an announcement that’s even bigger than that. Season 5 of Clarkson’s Farm is coming.”

Lights behind the presenter can be seen to be arranged into a massive number five confirming the news. It’s not very surprising that Clarkson’s Farm has been renewed as series three premiere was streamed by 5.1M viewers over seven days in the UK. A million viewers more than series two’s debut, which was Amazon’s previous record holder.

Each series chronicles the goings-on up at Diddly Squat Farm, a 1,000-acre farm nestled in the Cotswolds. The Who Wants To Be A Millionaire presenter bought the land back in 2008. And, after the farmer who ran it retired in 2019 he decided to take it on himself.
