Jeremy Clarkson's Emotional Admission As Grand Tour Drops Final Trailer

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May have been a trio in British pop culture since I grabbed my skateboard, put my MP3 on, and headed out to play with friends. From BBC’s Top Gear to The Grand Tour. So, the idea of this all ending – even for someone who isn’t invested as some might be feels seen.

Today’s release of Amazon Prime’s new trailer for the final episode of The Grand Tour, ‘One for the Road’, has fans of the show emotional. The show has enthralled audiences with the wonderful worldwide locations and the antics of one of Britain’s greatest trios.

Bonnie Tyler’s Total Eclipse of the Heart power ballad, a fitting song for the end, blasts out as Hammond contemplates: “I never thought that what we do together would go on as it has.”

Sombre shots of the trio mixed with scenic views set up the end of a 22-year journey as they put what’s left of their vehicles in the garage and store away those memories of a successful career together.

Jeremy notes: “We really did save the best ’til last…” confessing: “I shall certainly miss doing this sort of thing.”

Luckily for the trio, Clarkson has a lovely new pub that has just opened for them to all discuss the journey they have been on together (well, they could if James May wasn’t banned).

Clarkson shows no sign of slowing down with the opening of The Farmer’s Pub. The Diddly Squat farmer has given new lease of life to the Cotswold pub – and we love to see it.

Recently, we’ve driven around and seen more pubs than we’d like to see closed down and left to rot, and it’s as sad, if not more tragic than the ending of The Grand Tour.
