If you’ve not heard of Karen’s Diner yet, then listen up! We all know there is nothing worst than bad service in a restaurant, but what about if you got to let the waiters not what you think of them? Well, you can as a huge new restaurant is opening in Sheffield.
Karen’s Diners have sprung up all over the UK and encourage customers to be rude to the staff, but watch out as the staff doesn’t take any s*** and give as good as they get.
Double the size of the previous Karen’s Diner in Sheffield that closed last year, the world’s rudest restaurant is coming back bigger and better the new restaurant will have more than 100 sears and aims to open before May.
So if you’re looking to be insulted to your face instead of behind your back on your next night out then you’ll be happy for the return of the new venue, which will be located in Sheffield city centre. The popular chain has become huge on social media.
It’s previous restaurant rosted over 60,000 customers after 20 months of being open and closed due to its lease running out.
Paul Levin, theatrical producer for the chain in Europe, said: “Sheffield is very special. Sheffield people have a terrific sense of humour and you need that obviously. We can’t wait to have the opportunity to be rude to everyone again.”
The Sheffield restaurant’s four-strong team – including Fizzi Heartley – has been training staff and launching new restaurant’s hinted at what it takes to be a Karen saying: “You have to live it. We’ve had actors come who are useless at it. You either are a Karen or you are not.”
