Leeds Bradford Airport Has Added These New Destinations For 2021

If jetting off to a brand new country is one of your favourite pastimes, then great news, because Leeds Bradford Airport’s vast offering of destinations is expanding next year with three new places to travel to with Jet2.

The destinations will be available as part of Jet2’s summer programme, and are available to book now. Perfect for city break lovers and general explorers, travellers will now be able to book flights to Santorini, Skiathos and Lisbon without spending extra cash travelling from a further away airport.

Flights to Santorini and Skiathos will be available on a weekly basis, with flights to Lisbon available twice weekly. The summer programme will be Jet2’s biggest ever, offering more destinations than ever before. Additionally, travellers will be able to take advantage of more flights to the Canaries, Balearic Islands, Spain, Greece, Turkey and Cyprus.

A popular destination for those looking to take in beautiful views of Greece’s iconic white and blue buildings, Santorini is a small Greek island around 200km southeast of Greece’s mainland, offering spectacular views of the sparkling blue Aegean Sea. The sunset is unmissable, with Ancient sites to visit and beautiful sights to take in around every corner.

Jet2 says: “As well as soaking up breathtaking views along the caldera, holidaymakers can see the world-famous sunset at Oia, enjoy the local vineyards, or take in one of a number of key archaeological sites. Jet2holidays customers can choose from a great selection of accommodation which ranges from traditional family run hotels to 5* honeymoon retreats in resorts such as Imerovigli, Kamari, Megalachori, Perissa, Perivolos and Thira.”

Another Greek Island providing incredible views, the island provide guests with a diverse nightlife offering, as well as stunning beaches for sunbathing. The town is bustling in the evenings, with a ton of bars and restaurants to choose from if you’re more of the lively type. There’s some great boat trips to take advantage of and tons of beautiful beaches to visit.

Jet2 says: “holidaymakers can visit the island which has been hailed ‘the Aegean paradise’ thanks to its teal-tinted waters, white beaches, terracotta-topped towns, and luscious leafy landscapes. Holidaymakers to Skiathos can enjoy popular Skiathos Town or head to Achladies, Agia Paraskevi or Kolios where go-slow is the name of the game.”

One of Portugal’s most popular spots for tourists, the capital of Portugal is the perfect city break with lots to do. Not only is the city itself incredibly photogenic, but there’s also a ton of history to explore such as São Jorge castle and Tagus Estuary. The city is known for its incredible seafood, as well as traditional baked goods such as Pastel De Natas.

Jet2 says: “The addition of two weekly services (Monday and Thursday) to Lisbon comes in response to demand from holidaymakers looking to explore Lisbon’s cobbled alleyways, ancient ruins and white domed cathedrals, as well as those looking to enjoy a holiday to one of its coastal resorts with Cascais, Estoril and Sintra all easily accessible.”

Jet2’s summer programme will offer over 225 weekly flights to 51 destinations, with other new destinations for this year including increased destinations in Turkey and increased flights to Greece.
