Coastliner has extended its £2 fares until October 30th due to further government funding, and due to ‘record demand’ the Coastliner Express bus has increased its service.
From Sunday 9th July until September 2nd, the Coastliner Express will depart from Leeds City Bus station in the morning calling at York, Malton running fast journeys to the coast.
There will be early evening departures from Scarborough following the same route – and it’ll only cost you £2 – bargain.
To make the journey more reliable more buses and drivers are being added to the service – which is a win-win for anyone looking for a cheap holiday this summer.

Also, Coastlienr 840, named the most scenic bus journey in Britain, which goes over the Moors to Whitby will no longer serve Kirby Misperton for Flamingo Land to boost punctuality and cut journey times along the wider route.
Other Coastliner journeys between Leeds, York, Pickering and Thornon-le-Dale will continue to run via Kirby Misperton.
There will also be a second bus that will run throughout the summer on the last departure of the day from Whitby as far as Malton to provide extra capacity and to carry customers more comfortably.
