Netflix’s Bridgerton Has Brits Buying Four-Poster Beds To Recreate Steamy Sex Scenes

It seems that the nation has been getting excited by more than just the sex scenes in the Netflix favourite Bridgerton this lockdown. The period drama has some raunchy scenes that will be feeling you hot under the collar. Inspired by these scenes it seems that people have been wanting to create their own little version with searches of four-poster beds going through the roof.

According to a report in The Sun, the sales of four-poster beds has increased immensely since the programme aired. Argos has noticed a 112% increase in the number of people searching for its Habitat four-poster beds. And, the sales have increased up to 300%, since November.

And sales are up 300 per cent since November. The company commented that four-poster beds were no longer seen as an “extravagance reserved for stately homes”.

The Netflix season, which was shot last year used God’s Own Country for some of its filming locations. The beautiful stately home Castle Howard near York was featured in the series. As was the spectacular North Yorkshire Village of Coneysthorpe in the Ryedale District as well.
