Chris Price, Chief Executive Officer at NYMR, said: “The annual Steam Gala is one of the most exciting events of the year. This year is an extra special one as it’s our 50th anniversary, and we have the pleasure of welcoming four visiting locomotives – including iconic locomotive Sir Nigel Gresley.

“With so much to see over the four days, it’s not a surprise that tickets are always so high in demand. We’re very much looking forward to seeing the locos be enjoyed by so many again in September.”
